Birds of Guyana, the Land of Many Waters

A selection of birds from the rainforest and savannah seen during a 2-week trip to Guyana. A beautiful country – pristine rainforest stretching a far as the eye can see, wonderful watercourses and waterfalls, and the contrasting open savannah plains. Incredibly welcoming people and lots more to see and do! Click on a photograph to see the whole photo and enlarged, and then scroll through using the arrow on the right.

Thanks a lot Richard! Yes, it’s a fantastic destination (just like Vietnam!) – good diversity, very pristine and many beautiful birds. It was great fun walking and photographing these.
